As I have done for the last few years I went to Disneyland as an early birthday present. This year it was Brittany, Nicole and Ted that joined me. It was an awesome day, particularly because Britt and Nicole have not spent a lot of time with Ted, and it was awesome for everyone to start getting to know each other better, it meant a lot to Ted as well. It was COLD! But we all bundled up and enjoyed the Christmas decorations, and all the yummy Christmas/Disney sweets and treats!!!
As the night was winding down and we were waiting for the fireworks to start, (standing in the rain mind you, because I'm a freak and LOVE the fireworks), I began thinking that for the first time in a long time, I felt whole. I was standing there wrapped in Ted's arms with some of my best friends close, I felt like all the pieces of my life were finally in place, the void I had been feeling for years, particularly at this time of year, was gone. Everything I have ever wished for on a star, or on a birthday candle or asked Santa for has come true, in ways far greater than I could ever have imagined.
