Today with my best friends, mom, and grandma in tow, I went in search of my wedding dress. And I found it. It was the first dress I put on, though I tried on a TON after! It is the most amazing dress, I can't give anything away since my dear fiance can know NOTHING, but it really is spectacular. The day was so much fun, we had champagne, and laughed and cried. It was such a special day. When I put that dress on I just knew it was THE one. My entire wedding day just came together. Suddenly all the little details I couldn't get inspired enough to plan, just fell in to place, and I could see the day.
This was such a special day for my mom. I am so blessed to have such an amazing and strong woman as my mother. It warmed my heart to see her expression when I tried MY dress on. We both just knew it was the one. It was a day she has waited my whole life for, and I'm so glad that it was everything she dreamed it would be.
I have the most supportive and wonderful best friends in the world. I don't know what I would do without them. They are my comic relief in times of stress, comforting words when I'm down, and suppliers of alcohol when things get really stressful!!! (Thank you Britt for the champagne!) I'm so blessed, and so lucky to have you girls beside me!
Thank you all for such a magical day. It was more than I ever dreamed it would be. I'm obsessed with the amazing memories we are making during this special time in my life. Thank you. I love you.
